Jeff Schmitz is President & CEO of J.S. Capitol Group and has over twenty years of experience in construction and development. With over 100 projects completed or under development, his vast experience spans from manufacturing facilities to institutional, retail, office, industrial, hospitality, healthcare, and residential. Jeff is responsible for strategic planning and operations, interfacing with architects, engineers, developers, and owners to create business plans, project mapping, and financial-investment models.

Jeff is a passionate philanthropist and became committed to the mission of New Day Foundation after losing his dear friend and colleague to cancer in 2017. Jeff is a champion for New Day as well as his beloved Ferris State Bulldogs, where he played football for four years and received a B.S. in Business Administration in 1995. He is a proud father of three daughters, pilots his own plane, is an avid hunter, loves travel, and aspires to climb
